Artwork Information

The multi-layered surface of "The Cruel Twist" distorts time and space, by transporting us towards a futuristic space of queer utopia. Through bold colours, translucent, and opaque layering, I suggest a type of "remembrance" of past-life identity. The painting "The Cruel Twist" simultaneously embodies a rebellious feminine and masculine queer perspective and sexuality, while signifying the emergence of punk rock futurism.
