Art Ignites

​Art Ignites is a multi-program initiative hosted by the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation, designed to engage both youth and emerging artists. At Art Vancouver, Art Ignites features youth-focused programming, offering free activities for individuals under 18 to explore and create art.

 

The initiative also includes a Mentorship Program for emerging artists, providing one-on-one training and guidance from Lisa Wolfin. For more information on the mentorship program, visit our parent organization at vanvaf.com

Squeegee Splash: Exploring Creative Expression with Squeegee Art


Dive into a world of artistic discovery and excitement with our "Squeegee Splash" youth
art activity! Join us for an immersive experience where you'll learn and have fun
exploring the potential of squeegee art. Discover the versatility of squeegee art as you
blend and layer colors, experiment with different techniques, and unleash your
imagination.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Abstract Art
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Animal Portrait
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Graffiti and Emoji
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Floral Art


Each time slot is limited to max 10 ppl, each piece can be finished within 30 min.
